A 10-year pastoralist simulation
This game will last 10 years. You'll make choices each year.
Half of years are good — plenty of forage, each goat produces 50 KSh of milk.
The other half are bad — no milk.
Goats cost 200 KSh. In good years, each goat has a 25% chance of giving birth. In bad years, each goat has a 25% chance of dying.
Insurance costs 50 KSh per goat and pays 100 KSh per insured goat in a drought year — enough to replace the lost animal. A shield icon shows above each insured goat.
Each year you pay 200 KSh for food. If you can't afford it, you must sell a goat. If you have no goats, the game ends.
You can pay 100 KSh per year to send your child to school. Skip a year and they start over. Six years in a row = graduation.
